The hydrafacial treatment is not painful. Most people compare it to a light massage. But the exfoliation portion of the procedure will create some mild friction. The device’s treatment tips with vortex technology gently vacuum your skin and can get a little noisy.
All such procedures carry risks, including infection and allergic reactions to materials used in your treatment. Side effects can include temporary redness and skin irritation. However, you can safely apply makeup to hide that redness.
No. While this will vary from person to person, you can count on your results to last at least seven days. But in many cases, they will last much longer. We recommend a series of 4-6 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart for the best and most durable results.
