Avoid taking Vitamin E supplements, NSAIDs, and blood thinners leading up to your appointment. If you have a vacation or event in the next two weeks, consider booking your filler appointment afterward, as there can be some swelling and bruising post-treatment.

Hyaluronic acid lip fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm are long-lasting but impermanent. To maintain your results, come in for a touch-up when you notice the filler wearing off.
While we understand the urge to feel beautiful during this special time in life, lip fillers have not been proven safe for pregnant or nursing women.
As soon as the numbing agent wears off, you can resume eating and drinking. However, there can be some awkwardness during the first few days due to the initial swelling.
To avoid duck lips from fillers, our injectors generally administer approximately 1cc of product or less at a time. If you and your injector are in agreement, they can add more filler two to four weeks later.
