Restylane used for?
Restylane is one of the world’s most popular dermal fillers. It is used to temporarily reduce wrinkles and add volume to facial contours without the need for surgery or permanent facial implants.
The most common reasons patients seek Restylane injections are to address: nasolabial folds around the mouth, puppet lines around the chin, nonsurgical cheekbone filler, hollow temple filler, non-surgical lip augmentation, and hollow tear troughs under the eyes. Restylane is not used for all types of wrinkles. For areas with expression lines that are not deeply formed in the skin, such as around the eyes, between the brows, and on the forehead, Botox, Dysport are the first line of treatment.
If you have deep, static wrinkles due to aging in these areas, Restylane or surgical correction may occasionally be indicated when muscle relaxants such as Botox are not enough to produce the desired result.
